Here are a few pictures of our rental house.  God has totally blessed us with this house.  It is really way more space than we need, with a finished basement and a large living space.  We are really enjoying it and hope you can come visit us sometime.

I guess I could have picked up a little before taking the picture!

My domain!

The best part of the house is the backyard.  If you look closely, you can see the lake!

I haven’t taken the time to figure out how to do a slideshow yet, so here is a recap of our holiday festivities in pictures.  When I went back to look through the pictures, I was amazed at how much my baby isn’t a baby anymore!

Noah didn’t love visiting with Santa this year!

Noah and the three girls at our Christmas with David’s fam!

Family shot!

I couldn’t resist this picture.  Reminds me of David!

Noah’s "big" gift from Santa was a Pottery Barn chair.  He absolutely loves it!  It was a great investment…I mean, thanks Santa!

Because Noah was sick, I did a horrible job taking pictures Christmas Day.  Here is one of them opening presents.

Noah and Nate had a blast together.  You can really tell they are cousins in this picture.

We went to a Dr. Seuss themed ice sculpture thing while we were in Nashville with David’s family.  It was about 12 degrees in there, so this is how Taylor spent her time in there.

Noah reminded me of the little boy in Christmas Story.

A family shot at the ice museum in Nashville.  Doesn’t Noah look like he is having a blast!

Hope you enjoyed! House pictures are coming soon.  Let’s try for tomorrow…I’ll try for sure!

The Odom family successfully moved to Seneca, SC over the weekend!  We were so blessed to have lots of helpers at both ends to load and unload our house.  Both sets of parents stayed for the weekend to unpack everything!!!  All I really have left to do is organize, which I actually enjoy doing.  Unfortunately, we haven’t quite put our finger on the camera, which is why I am still without pictures.  We are also without internet and cable until next week, so I will update then.

I know I keep asking this (and I know there are a million other people in our situation), but please keep praying that our house in Grayson would sell soon.  We are so blessed to have the support of others while we have both a mortgage payment and a monthly rent payment, but the extra stress our home brings upon us financially and physically is heavy.  We have to believe that though the market is bad, God is still at work and can sell our house regardless of the current housing crisis.  At times, I am losing faith that it will ever sell, but I repeat to myself, "Jesus, I believe, but help me with my unbelief."

The Odom family just returned from a two week stretch of Christmas celebration.  We started off with an awesome Christmas service at our new church, Foothills Community Church.  Then, we headed to David’s parent’s house for a few days.  After that, we headed back to Gwinnett for our time with my family (Scott, Abatha, and Nate were in-town).  We ended our "tour" by going to Nashville for 4 days to hang out with more of David’s extended family.  We arrived back home in Grayson on New Year’s Day, exhausted, but quickly realizing that we have a lot in store for us this coming January.

Just for a quick update, we are going to be moving up to Seneca hopefully by mid-January, but no later than the last weekend in January.  Though our house hasn’t sold yet, we feel it is essential to get up there and settled before Gavin is born (that is baby boy #2’s name for those that didn’t know!).  God has truly blessed us with a great rental house that will more than meet our spacial needs as a family of four.  I am super excited to be up there and begin nesting before I am mother of two.

So, again we ask that you continue to pray for our family.  Of course, we NEED our house to sell in Grayson as soon as possible.  It continues to be trying and a bit depressing for our family to be separated for the majority of the week…but at least we see the end in sight!

*I will post pictures by mid-week of our Christmas festivities.  Noah is so wonderful…and totally loved spending time with all of his family.  I think he is a bit bored now that I am the only one around!
