Since we have such a crazy schedule right now, every moment David, Noah and I spend together is super special.  Last Friday afternoon, we headed to Atlanta to tour the new World of Coke.  We had a picnic lunch in Centennial Park <!– /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {mso-style-parent:""; margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; mso-pagination:widow-orphan; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman"; mso-fareast-font-family:"Times New Roman";} @page Section1 {size:8.5in 11.0in; margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in; mso-header-margin:.5in; mso-footer-margin:.5in; mso-paper-source:0;} div.Section1 {page:Section1;} –> and then went on the tour.  The new museum is great, except for one flaw.  At the old World of Coke, do remember in the tasting room how they had all of the crazy flavors from around the world, but then they had the basic coke products "shoot" across the room into your cup?  Though the new tasting room is full of cool things, there are no shooting drinks!   We had a wonderful time together.  I love my family!!!

Now, I know I am a LITTLE biased, but I think Noah has to be the cutest little boy on the planet!

A quick family photo right when we arrived!

Hello all!  I just thought I would post some more pictures of our trip to the lake along with some other Noah "classics".  He is just great-growing up so quickly.  It’s hard to believe there will another one added to our family soon.  Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Noah’s swollen lip after a little wrestling match!!

He’s got music in his blood.

Lake pictures.

Some great family photos!

Two sisters!  My grandma is on the left and her sister Ruth, who is 94, is next to her.  I just love their love of life!

Last but not least-Noah sporting his Georgia duds in hopes that we would beat South Carolina.  That was a rough game.  I don’t think I can take a whole season of that type of game.

David, Noah and I just returned from visiting my extended family in New York.  To say this is my favorite trip of the year is an understatement for sure.  We spend our time at a lake house in a place called Canandaigua, which is in upstate New York.  It is exactly the opposite of the city; it is peaceful and relaxing.  My dad comes from a family of 9 kids, so there are always people hanging around playing cards or swimming in the lake.  I think that is what I love the most-we just hang out and spend time with each other.  There is really no agenda besides when we will eat.  My grandma is the pillar of the family, and I truly enjoy spending time with her.  She is a spry 89, and can beat about anyone at a game of Scrabble.  All of my aunts are incredible cooks, so we all definitely eat our fair share of good cooking.

Besides my personal attachment to this place, Noah had an amazing time.  He was terrific on both plane trips there and back, and he loved being outside playing ball or swinging or floating in the lake.  Noah is such an amazing little boy, and I am so excited that he was so fond of this spot as well.

As I know too well, vacation is not reality, so we headed back to "life" yesterday.  I did my fair share of crying as we left my family.  I am so proud that they are my family, and wish we could see them more than once a year.  My mom and dad still have our camera, so I only have one photo to share until I can download the others.

One of Noah’s favorite spots..
