Tonight is the season opener for the Braves and I am super excited!  I definitely have grown up a Braves fan.  At the Boyle house, if the Braves were playing, they were on our T.V.  David wasn’t always a huge fan, but has definitely caught the fever since we have been married.  Noah will be attending his second game on April 18th thanks to Seleta!  My number one goal over the next couple of weeks is to teach the little guy how to Tomahawk chop!  Stay tuned for that video!emoticon

Here are just a couple of other pictures of our Easter fun.

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter Sunday.  Noah and I had a wonderful day celebrating the Savior.  David was in Orlando leading worship at Lake Church.  We definitely missed him!  Noah and I started off our morning at church and then I tried to squeeze in a quick photo shoot. I got some cute pictures, but he gets a little distracted when he is outside.

You can see his shoes a little in these pictures.  They fit!  I got compliments on them all day!

Then, Noah and I headed to the Cheesecake factory with Mimi and Paka!  We had a great time and Noah loved the Banana Cream Cheesecake.  My dad has pictures from this part of our day, so I will post those in Happy Easter Part 2!

Poppy also came over to wish us a Happy Easter!  We are so thankful he came to see us!

Then, Noah opened his Easter baskets.  It was a great day all around.

I know he’s young to really know what we are doing with the camera, but picture #2 is a great example of his new "smile".  He just opens his mouth!

Also this weekend, we celebrated Hayden Shababy’s first birthday.  Here are the two friends at the party together.  Don’t they look excited.

Look forward to some more pictures soon!

David loved dying Easter eggs as a child, so he wanted to make sure we continued the tradition with our kids.  David picked out the "camo" dying kit.  Let’s just say that the eggs didn’t turn out that great, but it’s the memory that counts!

We also worked on another little Easter project yesterday.  I love how Noah is looking at me in this picture.  Like, "What are you doing lady?"

Noah turned 9 months old on Saturday! He can officially have teething (or biter) biscuits now.  They are a complete mess, but are great for him to munch on while we eat dinner.

I am pretty computer literate, but I am definitely unfamiliar with "blog" terminology.  Today, I was determined to add some links to my page.  I was able to add a few of them all on my own, finally!  It’s the little things in life, you know?  Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Though I am unable to see my new picture up at the top of this blog because my computer is crazy, I hear it looks good.  Thanks Morgan for taking the time to put it up there for me!  I appreciate not having to learn how to do it myself.  The next step is to learn how to link other people’s blogs to my own.  Stay tuned!

Noah will be 9 months old this Saturday!  Time has definitely flown by.  Anyways, I have been waiting very patiently for him to begin crawling.  I know plenty of kids that have been crawling for a couple of months by the time they are this age, but you obviously can’t force them to do it.  We have definitely practiced with him, shown him how to crawl by crawling on the floor ourselves, and of course, put the toy just far enough away so that the only way he can reach it is to crawl to it.  Well, our efforts have not proved very successful.  He definitely gets in the position and has made a few lunges forward, but there has been no consistent movement.

Though crawling is not a skill he has acquired yet, he is definitely pulling up on anything and everything within his reach.  He LOVES to stand up while holding onto something and fusses when he can’t stand up any longer.  Yesterday, he even let go a couple times and was "standing" without holding on to anything for 3 or 4 seconds.  So, though I may be wrong and he may crawl tomorrow, I wouldn’t be surprised if he just skipped crawling altogether and went straight to walking.  I guess only time will tell.  Here are a few pictures from times we have found him in his favorite position.

When I went to get him out of his crib this morning, this is how I was greeted!  I love my life!

David and I’s third niece was born yesterday at 10:15 am.  Everything went great!  On the Odom side, it’s Noah with his three girl cousins.  They will all have so much fun growing up together.

Wow!  The last couple of weeks have flown by.  We have had a lot going on at the Odom house.  Tomorrow, a new Odom will be added to the world.  David’s brother Gary Lee and his wife Nikki are having their third little girl, Taylor.  We are very excited about meeting her.  Stay tuned for some pictures!

So, I had to buy these shoes to go with Noah’s Easter outfit.  I just couldn’t pass them up.  He is 8 and half months old and the size of the shoes are 6 to 12 months.  They should fit, right?  Well, Noah has really wide feet.  He has no hope seeing that both David and I are also cursed with Fred Flinstone feet.  Poor little Noah doesn’t seem to have any ankles yet either.  He is just really stocky.  Anyway, I bought the shoes in hopes that he could wear them on Easter.  We will see if it actually happens!

Here are the shoes!  Aren’t they cute?

Here are his cute little fat feet and cankles!

Noah is learning to feed himself.  We have started with the infamous "Puffs."  He likes to munch on them while we are eating dinner.  We honestly thought he was getting most of them into his mouth until we got him out of his highchair last night…
